Digital Strategist is seeking a qualified digital strategist.   Your job will be to lead a 3-5 member account team to manage 6-10 enterprise SEO and content marketing clients, with direct responsibility for that team's strategy, execution, and results.

The Job

  • Lead as an "Outsourced CMO": delivering the right mix of marketing tactics, tools, and channels.
  • Project management and ongoing communication directly with clients.
  • Research personas, keywords, and sales triggers to deliver consistent messaging that converts.
  • Set goals and milestones, devise plans to meet them, and prove successes with data.
  • Execute our auditing process.  Teach and implement these findings.
  • Management and quality control of your team's activities, including content creation, social media, development, link building, and publicity.

The Skills

  • 5+ years experience with inbound marketing topics.
  • Possess, or be capable of acquiring Google Analytics, AdWords, and Marketo certifications.
  • Organized, capable of meeting deadlines, and leading others to do the same.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a marketing, writing, or tech-related program.
  • Fantastic at communicating complex ideas simply and respectfully with clients.
  • Write at a professional level that stays in alignment with the AP Style Guide.
  • A broad range of all SEO skills (keyword research, technical audits, experiments, etc.).
  • A portfolio of past web marketing work is a requirement.  Please provide your application.
  • Experience with telecommunications, managed services, and/or other tech topics is a plus.

Brownie Points

  • Experience with DevOps, data centers, and other tech topics.
  • Experience with account-based marketing campaigns and funnel design.
  • Certifications in Marketo, HubSpot, or other marketing automation software.
  • Front-end development capabilities (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Experience with data scraping, spreadsheet wizardry, or other productivity hacks.
  • Samples of past campaign strategy, execution, and outcomes.
